connected with your neighbors by joining The Chevy Chase Community Listserv is a free email service designed to encourage us to talk with one another and to share information about a variety of topics affecting our daily lives in the community. Crime alerts and safety tips from the police and residents are posted, as well as meetings and activities of neighborhood groups and requests and referrals for home repair people, doctors, restaurants, etc. There are over 2000 people on the listserv at this time. The Listserv is independent; it is not managed by Chevy Chase Citizens Association. A website associated with the listserv keeps a record of more than 36,000 + emails that have been sent since May 2001, offers a way to search these messages, and provides links to other websites of importance to our community. Once you become a member you may receive and post messages to the listserv. You may choose to receive these messages individually or in a “Daily Digest” format, which means you'll get one or two emails a day that group all the messages within the last 24-hours into an email. You can also choose to receive "no mail" and instead, read and respond to listserv messages from the listserv’s website.
