Chevy Chase Citizens Association Garden Club Meeting
Wednesday March 26 at 7:15 pm, in the Chevy Chase
Community Center’s Main Lounge.
Bill McLaughlin, Curator of the US Botanic Garden, will
speak about selecting, caring for and growing North American native plants
highlighting ones that thrive in the Mid-Atlantic region.
The April meeting is the annual green meeting held in
conjunction with the Chevy Chase Citizens Association and is tentatively
schedule for April 15.
Up and Coming Events: Choices, Choices: March 2-9, the
annual Philadelphia Flower Show William Hopper, long time Chevy Chase Citizen
Association member suggested that members join his car club which arranges for a
pre-opening tour 7:30 am (before the morning crush at 9:00am) on Friday March 7.
They travel up the night before and stay in a Travel Lodge a few blocks away

Oasis, an adult learning program, is running a bus March 6 leaving DC at 7:30 am
and returning 7:30 pm. Fee is $90.00 including bus transportation, bus driver’s
